All we can say at NASCAR RnR about this news is, “It’s about freakin’ time!” Back in 2009 we called for NASCAR to give the Nationwide Series a little more identity by making it a NASCAR version of a Pony Car series by using the Dodge Challenger, the Ford Mustang and the Chevy Camero.

Well they got the Ford and Dodge running in the series but Chevy stuck with the Impala instead of the Camero (I heard they didn’t want to alter the roof lines to meet the CoT rules). Well now that is all changed as Chevy revealed its version of the Chevy Camero for entry into the Nationwide Series for 2013.

I can’t wait for next year!
