The NFL has officially scheduled a Supplemental Draft for Thursday, July 12, and eight prospects will be eligible to be selected in the electronically conducted draft.

Baylor wide receiver Josh Gordon and TCU running back Ed Wesley are the two prospects likely to garner the most attention, though neither is considered anything more than a late-round pick.

Gordon possesses a tremendous frame and physical skill set, but he has had legal issues with drugs in the past and walked away from two different football programs. Regardless of the off the field issues, Gordon is considered a project on the football field and may entice a team to take a late-round flier on him.

Wesley, meanwhile, left TCU for family reasons back in May. The 5-foot-9-inch running back was slated to handle the bulk of the work during his senior season before leaving the program. Wesley is no guarantee to be drafted in mid-July.

The following players also declared for the NFL Supplemental Draft:

Quaylon Ewing, Defensive Back, Boise State
Adam Harris, Fullback, Syracuse
Adrian Haughton, Offensive Tackle, Iowa State
Larry Lumpkin, Linebacker, Carson-Newman
Montez Robinson, Defensive End, Georgia
Houston Tuminello, Wide Receiver, McMurray
