As is to be expected now in the final days leading up to the MLB All-Star Game, the withdrawals just keep on coming. The latest player to bow out of the midsummer classic is Los Angeles Angels starter C.J. Wilson, who has been dealing with a blister on the middle finger of his pitching hand.

According to Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times, Wilson made his decision on Sunday. He will be replaced on the American League roster by right-hander Jake Peavy of the Chicago White Sox, who is definitely having a brilliant season on the South Side.

Wilson finished the first half with a 9-5 record and a 2.43 ERA. The Angels will still be represented by Jered Weaver, Mike Trout and Mark Trumbo.
