Man I love road racing NASCAR-style, especially with those Pony cars out there. Too bad they couldn’t rush the Camero into production sooner so we could see all three of the original Pony cars on the track at the same time before Dodge pulls out of NASCR for good (again).
Its looking like its going to be an interesting and competitive field with some road racing ringers like Ron Fellows in the field. Not to mention the return of Carl Edwards to the Nationwide Series. I honestly think he’s using this race as practice for tomorrow’s Cup event as he is sitting close to the edge of the Chase cut-off. Not to mention what a bit of confidence could do for him if he were to win today’s race - look what happened to Tony Stewart after he won that late July Sprint Car race at Ohsweken last year, he went on to dominate the Chase and winning the Championship over Carl Edwards to boot!
My favorites to win today? Carl Edwards, The Kez, and Ron Fellows! I know you are beginning to hate me, as I say this every week, but look for a good run from Danica Patrick too.
I don’t have the starting line-up after the jump because I wrote this on my phone - sorry. See you in the comments and lets hope the rain holds off - its pouring here where I am and I live a few hours away from the track.
