The United States women’s basketball team won their fifth-straight Olympic gold medal Saturday with a 86-50 win against France.
Team USA got off to a bit of a slower start than they may have liked, leading by just 12 points at halftime. They came out much stronger in the second half, extending their lead to 26 after the third quarter. It was the United States’ 41st consecutive win in Olympic play.
