As a famous sabre toothed tiger once said, “Who’s up for round two!?”

The second of three two road course races is on the slate today. They should have a road race in the Chase but I digress.

Anyway, remember what I said about Carl Edwards yesterday? You know, if he wins the Nationwide race his confidence will be boosted? Well I’d be looking out for him today as a top contender even if he is starting 18th.

Other top contenders for today’s race would include Bowyer, Ky. Busch, The Kez, Marcos (AC/DC) Ambrose, and Tony Stewart. O.K. and maybe Boris Said too. I also think that if Earnhardt comes out with a top 10, maybe even a top 15, that would be a good day for him. For some reason he seems to be either really good or really lousy at road courses so to come out just above average would be a good day.

So why do I not have Montoya as a person to watch? Because he hasn’t given us anything to watch this year, except maybe for that jet dryer incident. But if he were to make any gains to get his season on track it will be here today at The Glen as he is a bit of a road racing ace himself.

Starting line-up is after the jump. See you on the other side.
