Matt Barkley Takes Part in Reddit AMA

USC Trojan and top quarterback prospect Matt Barkley took part in a Reddit AMA, which if you're unfamiliar, is basically an ask me anything question and answer session. Barkley gave some interesting answers and in general came across as a very likable guy, prompting people from rivals colleges to say things to the effect of "I really want to hate you Barkley, but you're making it very hard".

Feel free to read through the entire session, but here are a couple of the most interesting points.

Barkley was asked about his favorite play, which most people respond with a generic answer such as ‘any touchdown play’. But Barkley gave a real answer.

Solo Personel. “Z Mo to Trouble Right 82 Stay Sluggo Z Win.” On Two. TD.

While I’d love to break that down for you, Chris Brown from SmartFootball.com beat me to it, an article I highly recommend.

More after the jump.

Asked if he could change any NCAA rule, what would it be? Barkley responded:

Everything... FREE.

AKA no such thing as impermissible benefits

To be honest, I’m kind of surprised that he hasn’t violated an NCAA rule by just saying that.

His most memorable game with USC? Barkley covered that as well.

Beating Ohio State in the Horseshoe.. In front of 106,000, silenced them all when we scored in the 4th Qtr!!

As I said, he came across as a very likable character, and things like this will only help his push for a Heisman Trophy. Barkley and his USC Trojans will be a hard team to beat this year, and it'll be interesting to see if Barkley can continue to progress from last season.

He’s a bit of a liability in the run game, but his potential in the pass game was enough for Buffalo Rumblings.
