New Orleans Saints backup linebacker Chris Chamberlain will miss the rest of the season after suffering a torn ACL in yesterday's exhibition game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, according to MySanAntonio.com.

Chris Chamberlain confirmed on his Twitter account Saturday that the injury he sustained in Friday’s exhibition was a torn ACL.
Chamberlain confirmed the report on his Twitter account Saturday, explaining that his knee "just buckled" while in pursuit of running back Montell Owens during the second quarter.
This was Chamberlain’s first year with the team, after being brought over as a free agent from St. Louis where he played three seasons under former Rams head coach Steve Spagnuolo, who is now the Saints’ defensive coordinator.
Chamberlain’s contract, worth $4.05 million over three years, might be in serious jeopardy.
Chamberlain was expected to contribute on special teams while acting as depth at the weak-side linebacker position after compiling 81 tackles, one forced fumble and one interception as a starter for the Rams last year.
