St. Louis Rams quarterback Sam Bradford is enjoying his time with new Rams offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer.

Bradford, who is entering his third pro season, has worked with three different offensive coordinators during his time in St. Louis. In his rookie year, Bradford worked with Pat Shurmur before working with Josh McDaniels in 2011.

Now in 2012, Bradford is working with Schottenheimer, and Bradford “really likes” working with him.

“I really like working with Schotty. I think he’s a very smart coach, a very smart coordinator. I’ve really enjoyed learning his offense and getting to know his offensive philosophy. I think what we’re doing this year is gonna be really good for us as a team. And like you said, I think it’s excited everyone in our offense. In the meeting rooms everyone seems more in-tuned, everyone’s eager to learn what we’re doing because I think everyone believes that if we go out and execute his plan we will have success.”

Prior to joining the Rams in 2012, Schottenheimer served as offensive coordinator for the New York Jets between 2006 and 2001.

Hopefully for Bradford’s sake, Schottenheimer sticks around in St. Louis for more than one season.
