The Seahawks quarterback battle just got a whole lot more interesting.
Seahawks to start Russell Wilson at quarterback Friday against Chiefs

Chris Mortensen reported Tuesday that rookie third round pick Russell Wilson will be Seattle's starting quarterbackwhen the Seahawks play the Chiefs on Friday night in the all-important third preseason game.
Wilson has outplayed free agent signing Matt Flynn throughout the preseason and will get a chance to prove himself against a tough Chiefs defense. Wilson has completed 66.7 percent of his passes for 279, three touchdowns and one interception, while rushing eight times for 92 yards and a score. To this point, most of that production has come against backups. Wilson's first extended action against starters will come at the unfriendly confines of Arrowhead Stadium.
Four rookie quarterbacks are already slated to start for their respective teams. First rounders Andrew Luck, Robert Griffin, Ryan Tannehill and Brandon Weeden will all be under center when the season kicks off in September. With continued strong performance, Wilson could join that group.
