Buster Posey Scratched With Hamstring Injury
Giants catcher Buster Posey has been scratched from Wednesday night’s lineup due to an apparent hamstring injury.

Hector Sanchez will take Posey's spot as catcher, batting sixth in the lineup.
Posey was not behind the plate to catch Tim Lincecum on Tuesday, which is considered an "off day" for the 2010 National League Rookie of the Year. Giants fans hope Posey's hamstring won't turn into something as serious as it did third baseman Pablo Sandoval, who injured his hamstring playing first base towards the end of July and wound up on the 15-day disabled list.
Posey is hitting .327 for the Giants this year along with 19 homers and 79 RBI, production that San Francisco will need down the home stretch now that they are without suspended outfielder Melky Cabrera.
