Adrian Beltre became the seventh Texas Ranger to hit for the cycle on Friday night. It was the fourth cycle hit this year, with Aaron Hill hitting the feat twice in two weeks back in June.

Beltre got all the hard parts out of the way before hitting a single in the bottom of the 7th inning.

Beltre started it off with a triple to deep center in the first, scoring Josh Hamilton on the play. He then doubled to left in a big second inning for the Rangers as they took a 6-0 lead. Beltre then homered in the bottom of the fifth inning to bring the score to 7-0.

Bengie Molina was the last Ranger to hit for the cycle back on July 16, 2010 against the Boston Red Sox.
