This Probably Happens To Novak Djokovic All The Time

How many times has this happened to you: you’re trying to get warmed up for the 2012 U.S. Open, but your practice sessions keep getting interrupted by young children who are professing their love for you and extending offers of marriage? What? Never? Really? Well, if you’re Novak Djokovic, it must happen constantly.

The below video, which comes to our attention via Josh Koblin of Deadspin, shows an early Djokovic practice getting interrupted by a boy proposing to the tennis superstar. Luckily, the “Djoker” lived up to his nickname, taking the opportunity to have some chuckles and give the fan a moment in the spotlight.

Sure, this is all fun and games now, but that kid is going to grow up to be Djokovic’s nemesis. It’s going to turn out to be just like the song “Stan,” but with tennis instead of killing. So, probably closer to an Abba song, then.
