Just how good are LSU’s Barkevious Mingo and Georgia’s Jarvis Jones? Both should be top 10 picks in the 2013 NFL Draft. Because of that alone, the outside linebacker class is a strong one. Then add seniors like Brandon Jenkins, Gerald Hodges and Jamie Collins and you have one of the better prospect groups in next year’s draft.
2013 NFL Draft outside linebacker rankings: Elite talent Barkevious Mingo leads group
One player to watch closely this fall is Georgia senior Cornelius Washington. He has been up and down as a prospect. It’s impossible to ignore his two-game suspension in 2011 for a DUI. But its even more impossible to overlook his 29 quarterback pressures a year ago.
Devon Kennard of Southern California was intentionally left off the list. He may miss the season following a torn pectoral muscle. Check out the full rankings after the jump.
