Update: Bell finished the game with 210 yards rushing and two touchdowns on 44 carries. He also caught six passes for 55 yards. Michigan State held of Boise State 17-13. Incredible. Get that helmet sticker ready. Up next for Bell and the Spartans is Central Michigan. Expect more ridiculous numbers from Bell next weekend.
Le’Veon Bell is a large, hurdling running back
Michigan State running back Le’Veon Bell is listed at 244 pounds. Here he is hurdling a helpless, air-tackling Boise State defensive back (courtesy of MockSession):

This occurred during Michigan State’s first drive of the night, which eventually ended in a touchdown. To this point, Bell already has 18 carries and its not even halftime. He’s in for a big year, that’s for sure.
Did I mention that Bell, one of the top running back prospects for the 2013 NFL Draft, is 244 pounds? Apparently he must have spent the summer watching the Summer Olympics. That’s a joke! Ha ha!
