Most fantasy football magazines hit news stands sometime in May, June or July. But fantasy football rankings fluctuate throughout training camp and preseason.
2012 Fantasy Football Stock Report: Which players are on the rise in training camp?

Plenty has happened since I released my fantasy football rankings (below), so after the jump, let’s take a look at which players are improving their stock leading up to the season opener.
1. Dez Bryant, Wide Receiver, Dallas Cowboys
Dez Bryant got himself into a bit of a legal trouble, but provided he avoids suspension, the third year wide receiver appears poised for a breakout year. The key with Bryant will be consistency. Couple Bryant's outstanding offseason with Miles Austin's continued injury issues, and there's little reason to think Bryant can't be a top ten wide receiver this year.
2. Antonio Gates, Tight End, San Diego Chargers
Antonio Gates has struggled with injuries in recent years, but he is finally healthy again. Reports out of Chargers camp all point to a breakout season from Gates. He looks as limber as ever, and with a bit of improvement from Phillip Rivers, Gates could return to elite status. He needs to stay healthy, of course.
3. Evan Royster, Running Back, Washington Redskins
Mike Shanahan can hardly be trusted to produce a reliable fantasy running back these days, but it’s worth noting that Evan Royster is taking the lead in Washington’s backfield. He’ll be the starter in the team’s first preseason game and have a chance to earn Shanny’s trust. He’s worth drafting as an RB3 or 4.
4. Eric Decker, Wide Receiver, Denver Broncos
Peyton Manning has been favoring Eric Decker during Broncos training camp. Decker is a reliable route runner with solid hands. Those are two traits that Manning loves in his receivers. I think Decker could be poised for a breakout season.
5. Mark Ingram, Running Back, New Orleans Saints
Mark Ingram inspired plenty of hope in fantasy owners last season, but he has fallen off the radar a bit. However, he’s healthy again and got some goal line work in the Saints first preseason game. Maybe he’ll live up to his enormous potential this season.
