Australia did well to draw Japan at home in their most recent World Cup qualifier, but their opening round away draw against Oman was less than impressive. Even though they have six matches to go, they might find themselves in a bit of trouble if they're unable to win away to Jordan on Tuesday. They shouldn't struggle too hard to finish second place in Group B, but the longer they go without winning a match, the more the door opens up for Iraq and Oman.

Japan face a slightly stronger opponent, though they have the advantage of being at home. They shouldn’t have too much of a problem with Iraq, who were unable to beat Oman at home in their last qualifier. Anything but a comfortable multiple-goal win for Japan would be stunning.
In Group A, South Korea go away to Uzbekistan, who have struggled so far. They lost at home to Iran and could only manage a draw away to Lebanon, so the South Koreans should be disappointed to leave with anything less than three points. Iran go away to Lebanon and will need to win to keep the heat on both South Korea and Qatar.
