Sean Connery Welcomes Andy Murray To The Rock

Renowned badass and legendary Scotsman Sean Connery was on hand at the 2012 U.S. Open on Monday to witness fellow countryman Andy Murray win his first career Grand Slam event. He supported Murray from the stands and made sure everyone knew who was, indeed, the man now, dog.

Connery, presumably proudly ensconced in the traditional kilt-and-nothing-else below the belt, had this to say following Murray’s win on Monday.

BOOM. ROASTED.

During the championship match that saw Murray upend Novak Djokovic in five sets, Connery could be seen in the stands generally being as Sean Connery as he could. To wit:

Things you should imagine Connery yelling in his head while at the apex of the first-pump:

- THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE

- YOU EXPECT ME TO TALK?

- WE NAMED THE DOG INDIANA

- CLEVER GIRL (note: this may not be a Sean Connery line)
