So here's a new thing. From Tuesday night's SNY broadcast of Mets and Phillies, just after Carlos Ruiz's second-inning single off Bobby Dickey:
Enemy Mine.

↵Ron Darling: You know what's interesting, something I've seen happen recently? The hitters will acknowledge the pitcher with a tip of their cap, on their first at-bat. I've seen it everywhere. I've never seen that before.
↵Keith Hernandez: Next thing you know, when they hit a home run, the pitcher will come down and shake the hitter's hand.
↵... Ron: I don't get it.
↵Keith: Neither do I.
↵Ron: That's the enemy!
↵
↵Neither do I. Just play, please.
