White Sox Beat Royals For Fifth Straight Win
The White Sox used three solo home runs and a strong performance from Gavin Floyd to defeat the Royals on Tuesday night to remain three games up in the A.L. Central.

Alejandro De Aza led off the game with a home run off of Luke Hochevar. The Royals would answer with two runs of their own in the bottom of the inning on a Billy Butler single.
That is how the game would stay until the sixth, when Gordon Beckham hit his 16th homer of the year to tie the game. In the seventh, Alex Rios gave the White Sox the lead for good with a home run on a 3-0 pitch.
Floyd, who was making his second start since experiencing elbow soreness, retired the last 10 batters he faced. Matt Thornton and Addison Reed picked up where Floyd left off, as they retired all six of the batters they saw.
