↵Cowley’s no-hitter was an ugly game; he nearly got yanked by manager Jim Fregosi when he walked the bases loaded in the sixth with a 3-0 lead. A run scored, but the White Sox eventually extended their lead and Cowley got his no-no in a 7-1 win.
