Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson has been fined $10,000 by the NFL for throwing punches at an opponent during last Sunday's game against the Baltimore Ravens, reports 97.5 The Fanatic's Tim McManus.

The incident occurred between Jackson and Ravens cornerback Cary Williams. With 12:35 remaining in the second quarter during a tie game, Eagles quarterback Michael Vick dropped back to pass on a first-and-10 pass play. Vick scrambled toward the right to pick up about 6 yards and set up a manageable second down, but a scrum broke out on the opposite side of the field.

Players worked to break up the fight, but not before punches were exchanged. Jackson and Williams were fortunate at the time to only be flagged for offsetting penalties and not hurt their teams on the field.
