Central Michigan took the air out of Iowa’s season with a 47-yard field goal to give the Chippewas a 31-29 win over the Hawkeyes in Iowa City.
God Hates Iowa, Loves Chips
The Chips recovered an onside kick and were aided by a personal foul and delay of game penalty to get in field goal range with just a smattering of seconds remaining.
Naturally, the AIRBHG’s wrath extended to Kirk Ferentz and the Iowa faithful, as he softly pursed his lips together to give a slight breeze that let the ball flitter over the uprights.
Then we were treated to a pile of chips.
And now we turn our attention to the aftereffects, eloquently summarized by our friend Adam Kramer.
On a positive note, the Iowa City arrest report is going to be just grand tomorrow.
