Senior Bowl 2013: Marshall WR Aaron Dobson a sleeper pick

How high does ESPN’s Mel Kiper think that Dobson could rise in the draft?

Justin K. Aller

The 2013 Senior Bowl is on January 26th as many NFL hopefuls look to raise their stock for the draft. One such player is wide receiver Aaron Dobson of Marshall, a player that Mel Kiper of ESPN is looking at as a major sleeper in this years draft. Kiper says that Dobson is:

"... a guy people are not talking about who could emerge maybe in late first round, or in the second round discussion," Kiper said.

Dobson caught 57 passes for 679 yards and three touchdowns as a senior at Marshall this season. He is tied with Troy Brown for the fourth-most career touchdowns (24) in school history and could be seen at the next level as a high-end number two receiver in the right system.

NFL Draft Scout rates Dobson as the 7th best wide receiver prospect in this years draft but a great Senior Bowl performance could solidify his spot in the late first or early second round.
