One day of 2013 Senior Bowl practice is in the books, and Arkansas quarterback Tyler Wilson was the passing star of the day on Monday. Wilson showed off many of the physical tools that NFL scouts drool over, including just making the height cut at 6’2.

CBS Sports’ Rob Rang thought Wilson showed why he is considered the best available quarterback participating in the Senior Bowl. Rang was particularly impressed with Wilson’s accuracy on a variety of passes:
He showed better than expected accuracy on the move, as well, hitting open targets deep right and shallow left after play-action bootlegs. Wilson was equally accurate on short swing passes to running backs, slants and deep crossers to receivers and down the seam to the tight end.
Justin Rogers of Mlive.com followed the Lions coaching staff to the South practice. Detroit was tasked with coaching the group on Monday. With Matthew Stafford likely in place for a while for the Lions, Rogers focused more on the defensive side of the ball and the cornerbacks in particular. The play of San Diego State's Leon McFadden stood out to him:
Commings and San Diego State's Leon McFadden impressed in coverage today. McFadden is one of the shorter corners on the South roster, a shade under 5-foot-10, but he has a strong build at 193 pounds. He got his hands on several passes, including a spectacular one-handed interception where he stepped in front of an out route intended for Georgia wide receiver Tavarres King.
Calvin Watkins of ESPN Dallas was checking out the most endangered position in all of football: Fullback. The Cowboys still use a lead blocker, and may be looking for one in the upcoming draft:
Want a possible replacement for fullback Lawrence Vickers? How about Wake Forest fullback Tommy Bohanon, who was measured at 6-foot and 247 pounds at Monday's weigh-in? The last time the Cowboys drafted a fullback was 2011 when Shaun Chapas, from Georgia, was picked in the seventh-round.
