The West used a pair of big plays late in the first half to distance themselves from the East, who struggled to get much going offensively.

Neither offense was able to get into a rhythm all night, as both teams turned the ball over four times. Kansas State's Collin Klein struggled throwing the ball, going 5-13 for only 43 yards and an interception. Scott had the best night of any quarterback, going 3-of-4 for 80 yards and a touchdown.
Middle Tennessee State's Anthony Amos and Texas A&M's Christine Michael both had rushing touchdowns for the West team. Michael was the team's leading rusher with 42 yards, and Bumphis was the team's leading receiver with 92 yards.
Army's Trent Steelman had a rushing touchdown for the East team, which was their only touchdown of the day. The only real standout on the East roster in this game was South Carolina defensive end Devin Taylor, who forced a fumble early and was a disruptive force for most of the night.
