2013 Pro Bowl: NFC runs away with it

As the Washington Post reports, Williams was also tasered at the nightclub. The NFL was quick to respond to the incident, telling all players to stay away from that particular scene.

Miske, 38, is the owner of the nightclub involved. He was charged with second-degree assault and his bail was set for $250,000. Judging by the numerous run-ins with the law he’s dealt with in the past, this isn’t an unusual situation. Miske has a total of 10 convictions and six felonies on his record.

The NFL has confirmed that the 2013 Pro Bowl will be delayed 30 minutes due to bad weather.

The all-star game in Honolulu was initially set to kickoff at 7 p.m. ET, but a storm sweeping through the islands has scuttled their plans. The National Weather Service issued a flash flood warning for the entire island of Oahu, and strong winds were picking up on Sunday morning. There’s also a chance of thunderstorms picking up through the afternoon.

The NFL Pro Bowl is finally here, and that means it’s time to take a look at the odds for this grudge match, provided by BOVADA.

In what can only be described as the game of the century, the AFC is favored by a point over the NFC, igniting debate across the country.

The Pro Bowl has gotten a bad rap as of late for being nothing more than a glorified walk-through, and many die-hard football fans will be the first to tell you that they don’t watch it. However, it’s football, and what else are we going to do?

There is a whole list of entertaining events that the NFL has planned around the Pro Bowl, including tailgating events, block parties, concerts and autograph signings, which can be seen here. The action all kicks off on Friday, Jan. 25, and the game is set to be played on Sunday, Jan. 27.

Manning has led a charge this week to save the annual all-star game that might not be around next year. The NFL is toying with the idea of nixing the game, which takes place every year in Hawaii. But Manning has urged his teammates to try harder this year in an attempt to make the game more interesting for fans.

The obvious story line Sunday will be Manning and Luck playing together. Manning spent 14 years in Indianapolis, and now Luck, the No. 1 pick in last year’s NFL Draft, replaced him.

If you love points and don’t care much for effort, the Pro Bowl is the sporting event for you. More importantly it offers the second-to-last chance to see any form of NFL football until August.

The 2013 NFL Pro Bowl will be aired in local Honolulu markets, the league announced Friday. While there are still a limited number of tickets available for sale, enough have been sold to ensure the game will be aired, in accordance with league broadcasting rules.
