Shaun White is already one of the most decorated athletes in snowboarding history, and he’s still managing to make history as he goes. For the sixth year in a row, White took home gold in the men’s Superpipe competition, blowing his competition away with a best score of 98.00 at the 2013 Winter X Games.

After posting an almost perfect score in his second run, White basically coasted to the finish in his third and final attempt. The gold medal was already his. Ayumu Hirano, a 14-year-old rookie, finished in second place, scoring a 92.33 on his best run.

White now claims 13 Winter X Game gold medals to his name. At 26 years of age, he was the oldest competitor in the field this time around. His first hit of his second run sent him 24 feet into the air, breaking the previous record of 23.

A scary moment occurred earlier in the night when Jackson Strong lost control of his snowmobile on a botched flip attempt. The throttle stuck, and as the snowmobile somehow landed upright, it was sent racing into the crowd. One male spectator was knocked down in the process.

Daniel Bodin won gold in the GoPro Snowmobile Best Trick competition. He scored a 92.33 on his first attempt, which would ultimately be good enough to land him first place.

Nick Goepper clinched gold in the men’s Ski Slopestyle final, avenging his late silver medal defeat from last year’s event. Tucker Hibbert won in the Snocross final with a time of 17:10:328, while Mike Schultz won the Snocross Adaptive final, finishing at 4:51:882. Tiril Sjåstad Christiansen clinched gold in the women’s Ski Slopestyle, wrapping up the action from the final day.
