Caleb Moore reportedly on brink of death after X Games crash
Caleb Moore may not be able to survive the injuries suffered during his horrific snowmobile crash at the Winter X Games.

Currently in intensive care at Grand Junction’s St. Mary’s Hospital, family of the 25-year-old gathered at the hospital Monday as Moore fights to recover, according to Jason Blevins of the Denver Post. Optimism is waning after doctors fought a series of complications over the weekend.
"Caleb is not doing good at all. The prognosis is not good at all. It's almost certain he's not going to make it," Moore's grandfather, Charles Moore, said.
After initially being rushed to Aspen Valley Hospital with a concussion, doctors discovered bleeding around Moore’s heart. He was then helicoptered to Grand Junction’s St. Mary’s Hospital, where he underwent emergency heart surgery Friday morning. Late Sunday, family revealed that the cardiac injury also led to additional complications involving the athlete’s brain.
There has never been a death in the 17-year history of the X Games.
