Few teams in college basketball are more underrated right now than the No. 21 Notre Dame Fighting Irish, and they proved it Saturday with an easy 93-74 victory over Seton Hall at home. The Irish improved to 13-1 overall and 11-0 at home this season.

For Notre Dame, it was a dominant effort from the beginning, as they jumped out to 44-36 halftime lead, before putting up 49 second-half points in the win. The Irish were led by four starters who scored in double-figures, highlighted by Scott Martin's 22 points (on six 3-pointers) and Jack Cooley's 19 points and 13 rebounds. Eric Atkins and Jerian Grant added 17 points and 13 points, respectively, for Notre Dame, which won it's Big East opener for the seventh straight season.

Meanwhile, it was a tough loss for Seton Hall, which was coming off victory over DePaul in their Big East opener Wednesday. The Pirates were led on Saturday by guards Fuquan Edwin and Aaron Cosby who each scored 21 points, with Eugene Teague adding 17 points and 10 rebounds. The loss dropped Seton Hall to 12-3 on the season.

Next up for the Irish will be their toughest test to date, when they visit the No. 14 ranked Cincinnati Bearcats on Monday night.

Seton Hall will next take the court on Wednesday, when they host No. 4 Louisville.
