Philadelphia police confirmed that “a member of the Nets” and his associates have been questioned about an alleged sexual assault involving a 21-year-old woman that occurred at 4 a.m. Tuesday morning. NBC Philadelphia reported that the Nets player was in the hotel suite, but not in the room at the time the alleged incident occurred.
The Nets issued a statement earlier Tuesday saying they are aware of the investigation and have no further comment. All healthy Nets players are expected to be in uniform when the Nets take on the 76ers on Tuesday night.
