Florida opened up its SEC schedule on Wednesday night with a cakewalk, as it easily defeated Georgia, 77-44. An ugly season got worse for Georgia, which recorded a season-low point total.

The game was never really in doubt as Florida won its SEC opener.


While the Gators spread around the scoring in the victory, they were led by senior Mike Rosario, who finished with 19 points. As a team, Florida shot 52.7 percent from the field.
It was never much of a game, as the Gators held a 28-15 lead at the half. The lopsided final score was fueled by 19 turnovers for the Bulldogs.
The win continues a perfect season at home for Billy Donovan's crew.
After picking up a win in its SEC opener, Florida will face a tougher test on Saturday at LSU, who is 9-2.
As for the Bulldogs, they will play the only team in the conference with less wins then themselves when they host Mississippi State on Saturday.
