Juan Manuel Marquez and Timothy Bradley had to hit the scales today in Las Vegas to make it official for their welterweight title fight on HBO pay per view Saturday night.
Marquez vs Bradley weigh-in results: Both men easily make weight for PPV showdown
Timothy Bradley and Juan Manuel Marquez both made weight for their HBO pay-per-view bout, Bradley coming in at 146 pounds to Marquez’s 144.5.

Marquez, as the challenger, was the first man to step onto the scales. He looked in good shape as far as hydration and was still looking quite muscular as he had for the bout where he knocked out Manny Pacquiao. Marquez weighed in at 144.5 pounds.
Timothy Bradley looked in his usual outstanding shape and was at 146 pounds, meaning both men were under the 147 pound limit, meaning no drama as far as weight went.
The crowd was pro-Marquez, chanting his name while booing as Bradley was on the scale.
They then engaged in a relatively calm staredown, each man looking the other in the eye while Bradley chewed a piece of gum.
