1. Brooklyn Nets vs. Boston Celtics

Details: Wednesday, October 23 @ 7:00 PM ET - TD Garden - Boston, MA

Watch Here: ESPN on XFINITY

Why Watch: Could the NBA preseason tipoff on ESPN get any better than this game? No, it can’t! This game is going to be great. We’ve got three keys to this game: a new look Celtics team, a first year head coach on both benches, and the two teams that made the biggest trade in the offseason competing on the Boston hardwood. Keep your eye on the point guard battle - Deron Williams versus Avery Bradley - an all star against a shutdown defender. But, Pierce and Garnett’s return to the Garden is going to be the ultimate sports moment you don’t want to miss.

#5ToFollow Insider: Jeff Clark - @CelticsBlog

Jeff Clark has been a Celtics fan since the days of Bird and Mchale and a Celtics blogger since 2004. Clark is the point guard for SB Nation’s Celtics Blog and his wealth of information in his tweets will bring you closer to the game Wednesday night.

2. Boston Bruins vs. Buffalo Sabres

Details: Wednesday, October 23 @ 8:00 PM ET - First Niagara Center - Buffalo, NY

Watch Here: NBCSN with XFINITY

Why Watch: Rivalry night is put on ice as the Bruins and Sabres face-off on NBCSN. A rebuilding Sabres team is looking for a statement win and a W over the Bruins would help their standings in the NHL’s Atlantic Division. The Sabres have been heating up with strong play from center Cody Hodgson. While Hodgson is playing strong, it will be tough for him to net a goal against Tuukka Rask. Rask has allowed one goal or fewer in the five season games to date. Will the Bruins climb to the top of the division or is Buffalo’s big win coming on #RivalryNight?

Joe Haggerty is the Bruins insider for CSNNE.com, reporting on the Great American Hockey Show and writing for the Bruins Talk blog. You will want to follow Haggs all season long for a Bostonian’s view on the team that looks ready for another run at the Cup.

3. Chicago Bulls vs. Oklahoma City Thunder

Details: Wednesday, October 23 @ 9:30 PM ET - INTRUST Bank Arena - Wichita, KS

Watch Here: ESPN on XFINITY

Why Watch: The Rose comeback story is a thing of beauty and you’ll get to see the former MVP take the court against the Thunder’s 3x NBA scoring champion Kevin Durant. These two headliners are going to be making it rain on the perimeter, while two of the league’s best bigs battle in the paint. Kendrick Perkins is a banger and Joakim Noah is one of the best effort big-men in all of basketball. You’ve got greats in the frontcourt and backcourt during the Thunder and Bulls Wednesday night - be sure to stream NBA hoops!

The Bulldogs are averaging 30+ ppg behind a two-QB system with Tyler Russell and Dak Prescott. Russell leads the aerial attack and Prescott is the team’s leading rusher.
