Jacksonville Jaguars tight and Marcedes Lewis (calf) will not play in the team's Week 5 game against the St. Louis Rams. Lewis lasted just two snaps in the team's week four loss to the Indianapolis Colts before re-aggravating the injury.
Marcedes Lewis ruled out a fantasy option this week
The Jaguars go-to tight will not play against the Rams in Week 5. We discuss the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: The news that Lewis is out again has to be frustrating for the Jacksonville Jaguars, who will now have to continue to rely on Clay Harbor and Allen Reisner to carry the workload.
Lewis hasn’t played at all this year and could be considered a low-end starting tight end and deeper fantasy leagues. With the Jaguars being the worst team in football right now, but still full that Lewis will make a return to fantasy relevance even if he does make a return on the field.
Since the Jaguars still boast the likes of Chad Henne and Blaine Gabbert at quarterback, chances are slim to none that Lewis will return to the Pro bowl form exhibited back in 2010, where he managed a career-high 88 catches for 700 yards and 10 touchdowns.
Lewis is not an option for fantasy owners this week, but realistically he wouldn’t be in too many fantasy lineups even if he could play.
