How to watch Breeders’ Cup 2013 online

Here’s what you need to know.

Andy Lyons

The “richest two days in sports” is back, with this year’s edition paying out a reported $27 million among jockeys, owners, trainers and nominators. And yes, all the amazing, odd and awesome names for horses are still here, with participants like Game On Dude, Declaration of War and Scandalous Act all set to take off.

Taking place in Los Angeles' Santa Anita Park, this year's Breeders Cup will be broadcast over two days -- from 4-8 p.m. ET Friday and from 3:30-8 p.m. ET Saturday on NBCSN, before shifting coverage over to NBC from 8-9 p.m. ET. Find out how to get NBCSN on your TV here.

Both the NBC and NBCSN portions will be livestreamed to tablets, PCs and mobile devices via NBC Live Extra, although access to the NBCSN coverage will require access through your cable provider.

There will also be full replays of streamed races for later.
