The San Antonio Spurs, without Tim Duncan who missed Friday night's game with a chest contusion, pulled away late from the scrappy Los Angeles Lakers to win 91-85 for its second straight victory. Tony Parker led the way with 24 points and six assists while Kawhi Leonard chipped in 15 points and 11 rebounds.

The Spurs were down by as many as 15 early, but pulled away at the end to steal a win in Los Angeles
The Lakers led by 15 early but the Spurs fought back to take a 63-61 lead heading into the fourth quarter.
Paul Gasol drilled a wide open jumper at the foul line to give the Lakers a one point lead 77-76. On the Spurs' next possession, Tony Park drilled a drifting shot to regain the lead. Jodie Meeks finished and completed an and-1 on the Lakers next time down the floor. Boris Diaw drilled a jumper to tie the score up at 80.
Tony Parker nailed a pull up jumper to give San Antonio an 82-80 lead with two minutes to play. Gasol was fouled on the ensuing possession, capitalizing on one of his free throw attempts. Diaw then drilled a three-pointer from the right wing to extend the Spurs’ lead to four.
Splitter tapped in his own miss to bring the score to 87-81. Gasol missed a layup on the other end but the Spurs failed to capitalize. A reverse layup from Meeks closed the cap to four with 22 seconds left. Boris Diaw was sent to the line where he missed both. Meeks was stripped while driving to the paint and Diaw tossed the ball ahead to Manu Ginobili for a wide open dunk.
Free throws and end of the game banter ensued as the Spurs went on to win 91-85.
