Harvard defeated Yale for the seventh consecutive year with a 34-7 victory at the Yale Bowl on Saturday.

Harvard’s sophomore RB Paul Stanton scored four touchdowns en route to a 34-7 victory against its archrival, giving the Crimson a chance to be co-champions of the Ivy League.
Harvard sophomore RB Paul Stanton Jr. accounted for the first four touchdowns of the game. He scored on Harvard’s first four drives, two of the rushing variety and two receiving. His four scores led to a 28-0 lead for Harvard at the half.
The Ivy League does not use instant replay to review questionable calls, and that benefited Harvard on its first drive. Stanton appeared to have fumbled on a run up the middle, and the fumble was recovered by Yale. However, Stanton was ruled down on the play and there was never another look at it.
That wasn't the only play that had a questionable outcome with the possibility to be overturned via review. Harvard senior safety Jaron Wilson was ejected for targeting on a play that, under further review, might not have been cause for an abrupt end to the final game of his career.
Box Score Hero: Stanton had four total touchdowns to go along with 111 rushing yards on 25 carries and 40 receiving yards on four catches. He accounted for every score in the first half.
Rankings Ramifications: The victory put Harvard in line for a co-championship of the Ivy league alongside Princeton, who is currently losing to Dartmouth. Should Dartmouth hold on to their lead, both Princeton and Yale would both be 8-1 in the Ivy League.
