Pacquiao vs. Rios live results: Round 1

Brandon Rios came out with his guard up and throwing a jab in the first round of his fight with anny Pacquiao. But that apparent attempt to be disciplined didn’t much matter as Pacquiao was able to quickly get off some very heavy shots.

One of the more surprising punches in the round was Manny driving straight punches to the gut of Rios when he wasn’t throwing hard left hands to the head of Rios.

Rios did get into a clinch and throw a flurry of hard punches to the head and body of Pacquiao, but it was a clear Manny round as he landed man hard shots.
