Michael Regan

1. Napoli vs. Arsenal

Details: Wednesday, December 11 @ 2:30 PM ET - Stadio San Paolo - Naples, Campania, Italy

Watch Here: FoxSports1 on XFINITY

Why Watch: The leaders in Group F will take on Napoli Wednesday afternoon, and if Napoli wants to stay alive in the Champions League, they must get the full three-points. Arsenal holds a lead over the Group with a total of 12-points, three more than Napoli (9). Napoli is tied with Borussia (9) for the second spot in the Group, but will need a win as Borussia holds a superior head-to-head record. Can Napoli take control of their own destiny by disarming the powerful Gunners? Arsenal has looked dominant all season long, with the addition of Ozil and emergence of Aaron Ramsey, so it won’t but easy, but it can be done.

2. Philadelphia Flyers vs. Chicago Blackhawks

Details: Wednesday, December 11 @ 7:00 PM ET - United Center - Chicago, IL

Watch Here: NBCSN with XFINITY

Why Watch: Claude Giroux is back on the top line and looking better than ever, as the Flyers visit the NHL’s top team, the Chicago Blackhawks. The Flyers are at the end of a two-week road trip and will be out for an upset against eh reigning World Cup Champions Wednesday night. The Hawks are looking like a strong contender to challenge for the Cup once again, but losing two of their last three at home makes this match interesting. Will Kane continue his current point streak against Philly or will we see an upset on the ice on NBCSN?

3. Dallas Mavericks vs. Golden State Warriors

Details: Wednesday, December 11 @ 10:30 PM ET - Oracle Arena - Oakland, CA

Watch Here: ESPN on XFINITY

Why Watch: The string music will be ringing out when the MAVS and Warriors tip-off in Oakland, as two hot-handed shooters will look to dominate the game. The offense will be what they’re serving up and it will come by the boat load, as Dirk Nowitzki and Monta Ellis will try and out shoot Steph Curry and Klay Thompson. The Oracle Arena has seen some classic clashes, as the eighth seeded ‘07 Golden State squad eliminated the top seeded MAVS. Dirk hasn’t forgotten and says revenge is always a factor when he enters that arena. Look for the score to be well over 200-points and the night to end with offensive fireworks between these Western Conference foes.

4. Maryland vs. Boston College

Details: Thursday, December 12 @ 7:00 PM ET - Silvio O Conte Forum - Chestnut Hill, MA

Watch Here: ESPNU on XFINITY

Why Watch: ACC Hoops highlight the night on ESPNU as the Terps and Eagles begin conference play. Maryland has a team full of bangers and they like to work the ball down low, making their money in the paint. Look for Layman and Smotrycz to do most of the heavy lifting for the turtle’s Thursday night. BC is on the hunt for a strong start to ACC play and could make a major statement with a win over Maryland. They’ve got a superb sophomore shooter, Olivier Hanlan, who is averaging just under 20 ppg (19.2) and will give opponents fits with his range. With Hanlan up top, and Ryan Anderson on the block (18 ppg 6.4 rpg) this has the makings of an ACC classic that all hoop heads should be streaming!

5. Houston Rockets vs. Portland Trailblazers

Details: Thursday, December 12 @ 10:30 PM ET - Moda Center - Portland, OR

Watch Here: TNT-OT with XFINITY

Why Watch: Two of the top teams in the Western Conference look to shift the standings Thursday night on TNT. The West’s best Trailblazers (18-4) will welcome the Rockets for a clash of the centers on the court. All eyes will focus in on Dwight Howard and his aggressive attack against the rugged defense of Robin Lopez. Howard is a physical specimen, but Lopez is an enforcer for PDX and will take nothing for no one. In the backcourt, James Harden and Wesley Matthews makes for must see TV. Matthews is easily one of the most underrated two-guards in the NBA and this could be a spotlight-stealing showdown, but upstaging James Harden doesn’t happen much. Keep an eye on all the matchups in this grand finale to #5ToFollow!
