A-League week 12 squad lists

Besart Berisha again headlines the league’s Ins-and-Outs, overshadowing even Alessandro Del Piero.

Bradley Kanaris

The weekend's biggest news, even more so than the return of Alessandro Del Piero, is Besart Berisha's absence for Brisbane Roar. The league's best striker will miss as many as three weeks with a hip injury. Brett Emerton joins Del Piero in his Sydney return after the veteran pair skipped the trip to Wellington last weekend. Melbourne Heart will be without Patrick Kisnorbo who is suspended after his red card-worth tackle on Conor Pain in the Melbourne Derby, while Wellington Phoenix will be without Paul Ifill for quite a while, after the 34-year-old ruptured his achilles.
