NBA Schedule: Nuggets-Celtics and Lakers-Heat highlight Sunday’s games

The two hottest teams in the league will face off against one another when the Denver Nuggets travel to Boston to face the Celtics.

The Denver Nuggets will take their nine-game winning streak to Boston to face the red-hot Celtics at 6 p.m. ET on Sunday. The Celtics have won six games in a row since losing Rajon Rondo for the season due to a knee injury.

The Miami Heat will host the struggling Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday. The Lakers are 9-17 on the road and are coming off a dramatic win over the Charlotte Bobcats on Friday. At 24-27, the Lakers are 3.5 games behind the Houston Rockets for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference.

The Heat have won four games in a row to take a 1.5 game lead over the New York Knicks for the best record in the Eastern Conference.
