Brett Davis-USA TODAY SportsThe “team rounds,” or, as normal people call them, the first rounds, of each event, are worth more points than the championship rounds. In the Shooting Stars Competition, the team round, which the West won, was worth 20 points. Team Bosh hoisted the trophy, but was rewarded with just 10 points for the East.
The Shooting Stars competition is graded just as brilliantly, with 40 points going to the team with the highest team score, and 10 going to the team with the winner. The Dunk Contest, thank goodness, has 50 points given to the conference with the highest score, and 55 points to the conference of the winner.
