Like Terrence Ross, Eric Bledsoe took several times to complete his dunk in the first round of the 2013 Slam Dunk Contest. Unlike Ross, though, Bledsoe did not impress the judges. The Clippers’ guard eventually switched his dunk and completed a fairly easy 180-spin that he tried to make look better by pausing his spin in mid-air. Here’s the dunk.
Eric Bledsoe’s first dunk disappoints
Eric Bledsoe’s first dunk at the 2013 Slam Dunk Contest was very disappointing, only getting a 39.

Bledsoe got only a 39 for his efforts.
AESTHETICS
Bledsoe initially tried several more complicated dunks before settling on this one, so it’s hard to judge. I really thought Bledsoe might have a good shot, but we’re beyond being impressed by a small man completing slams like the one Bledsoe ultimately did.
REACTION
Just let the East dunk against each other lol.

SB NATION’S SCORE
Given all of Bledsoe’s misses, the score that was decided was completely appropriate. Next time, Bledsoe should stick to his original dunk.
