NBA All-Star Game 2013 MVP: Chris Paul wins MVP honors in 143-138 West victory

Chris Paul won the 2013 All-Star MVP award with 20 points and 15 assists.

Los Angeles Clippers point guard Chris Paul was named the MVP of the 2013 NBA All-Star Game, finishing with 20 points, 15 assists and four steals en route to a 143-138 West victory. Paul's 20 points included making four of his five attempts from 3-point range. Paul didn't jump out as an early favorite for MVP, but spent the early portion of the game setting up his West teammates with assist after assist. While the game started with the usual lack of defense in an All-Star Game, Paul stepped up as the game grew more intense.

Paul was the starting point guard for the West based on fan votes, and ended up playing 27 minutes. Kevin Durant was the closest competition on the West Squad, finishing with 30 points and six rebounds, but Paul had the more rounded contribution and seemed to be involved in nearly every key play down the stretch,

And lest we forget forget, Paul's highlights of the evening included dribbling through Chris Bosh's legs:
