    Jordan Crawford helps C’s bench

    Chris Humphreys-USA TODAY Sports

Crawford is signed for a little more than $2 million next season before he hits restricted free agency and is a low-cost rotation player. The Celtics are a little bit better than they were yesterday, which was one of Ainge’s goals this week.

Multiple teams interested in Jordan Crawford

    USA TODAY Sports

Crawford is averaging 19 points, six assists and five rebounds per game in December, but caught some heat for his perceived selfish play and his minutes shrunk in January. Maybe not coincidentally, the Wizards started playing better as his minutes went down.

Crawford has not taken his benching well, tossing his jersey into the crowd after the Wizards’ eight-point loss to the Raptors Monday.
