Well, this exists.
Ryan Lochte re-created the Nirvana ‘Nevermind’ for some reason
ESPN The Magazine is being ESPN The Magazine again, and this time Ryan Lochte is involved.

That image comes from Stacey Pressman and it’s part of the latest “Music” issue of ESPN: The Magazine which is a real thing that exists, featuring today’s athletes re-creating iconic album covers. We could talk about ESPN: The Magazine here, but there’s also a companion “Behind The Scenes” video featuring Lochte, because the only way this could get better would be having Ryan Lochte explain it to us.
USA Today collected some of the highlights from the video over here, but honestly even “Hi, I’m Ryan Lochte” counts as a highlight here.
He added: “The cover is definitely global, brah.”
None of is really happening, of course. ESPN Magazine can’t really be putting together a “Music Issue” full of album covers, Ryan Lochte can’t really be explaining the Nirvana baby to us, and more importantly, there’s no way that Lochte, himself, is a real person. It would all be a little too amazing.
And yet: “He’s chasing after the dollar bill,” Lochte says of the Nirvana baby. “So he’s always on the grind.”
Ryan Lochte can totally relate, brah.
God bless everyone.
