Blackhawks extend streak to 21 with 4-3 overtime win over Blue Jackets
Brent Seabrook’s OT winner finished off Columbus.

Okay, perhaps that's a little overdramatic. Anyways, the lowly Columbus Blue Jackets came incredibly close to ending the longest point streak in NHL history on Friday night, falling to the Chicago Blackhawks 4-3 in overtime. Chicago has now earned a point in 21 consecutive games this season.
The Blackhawks had to fight for this one, as the two teams traded leads all night. Columbus got on the board early with a Vinny Prospal goal just 31 seconds into the first period. Chicago evened things up thanks to a Viktor Stalberg wrist shot later in the period.
Artem Anisimov regained the lead for Columbus at 12:42 in the second, but the Blackhawks' quick-strike offense struck again soon after. Patrick Sharp scored on a goal that honestly should have been saved by Steve Mason, and Bryan Bickell scored less than a minute later to put the Blackhawks up by one.
No one would've blamed the Jackets for giving up at this point. Instead, they battled back to tie the game when Ryan Johansen scored for the first time in 37 games mid-way through the third. Steve Mason made a few impressive stops near the end to send the game to overtime, where Brent Seabrook sealed the win for Chicago:
