Something happened in the Tigers/Mets game on Monday, but there are conflicting accounts for us to parse. First, from Mets outfielder Jordany Valdespin:

Okay, okay. Seems pretty straight forward. But is that accurate, Justin Verlander?

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Which is it? Frank or beans? The game wasn’t televised, and GameDay is no help.

Wait, what was Valdespin waggling around up there for? Players shouldn’t even put their shoulder in the path of the ball, much less that. He deserved to get hit if he was acting like that silly.

The important thing that we can all agree on is that Jordany Valdespin was hit in a sensitive area by a Justin Verlander fastball, and the service is on Thursday.
