The No. 2-seeded Ohio St. Buckeyes had no problems advancing to the semifinals in the Big Ten tournament, easily dispatching the No. 10 Nebraska Cornhuskers, 71-50.
Ohio State vs. Nebraska final score: Buckeyes cruise past Cornhuskers
The Ohio State Buckeyes used a dominant second half to turn their Big Ten tournament game against the Nebraska Cornhuskers into a blowout.


Nebraska kept the game competitive for the first 20 minutes, trailing by only five after the first half. Ohio State ran away from Nebraska during the second half, outscoring the Cornhuskers 26-5 during the first eight minutes.
Ohio State turned in an extremely efficient offensive performance, shooting 59 percent from the field overall while sinking nine of their 17 shots from behind the three-point line.
Deshaun Thomas led Ohio State with 19 points and nine rebounds, while Sam Thompson also scored 19 points for the Buckeyes. Brandon Ubel led Nebraska with 16 points.
Ohio State will face the winner of the Michigan State Spartans/Iowa Hawkeyes game in the semifinals tomorrow. That game will start at 3 p.m. ET, with CBS televising the game.
